Mother-ease Cotton Nappy Fabric




Our regular cotton terry is specially knit with only cotton touching your baby's delicate skin, polyester is knit into the base of the fabric to provide strength, durability and shrinkage control. The result is a very stretchy, comfortable and reliable product. Our cotton terry is available in its natural unbleached colour and a range of fun rainbow colours.

The coloured fabrics and bindings are custom dyed using low impact synthetic dyes. Low impact dyes have been classified by the Oeko Tex 100 standard as eco-friendly. Low impact dyes do not contain toxic chemicals, require less rinsing and have a high absorption rate in fabric (less waste in the dyeing process).

This is the dye of choice for many organic clothing manufacturers that want a diverse set of colors.

The inside panel of our coloured nappies is always white for hygiene reasons (stool examination and urine concentration levels need to be comparable between nappy changes).

Mother-ease Bamboo Nappy Fabric



This terry fabric is specially knit with 70% Bamboo / 30% Cotton touching your baby's delicate skin. Polyester is knit into the base of the fabric to provide strength, durability and shrinkage control. Our Bamboo Terry is available in its natural unbleached finish.

The bamboo used in our yarn is a man made fiber using the viscose process. It is made from organically grown bamboo and the factory producing it follows strict environmental standards (ISO14001:2004) as well as employee health standards (OHSAS18001:1999). This yarn has been tested free of harmful substances according to Oeko Tex Standard 100 for baby articles.




Mother-ease Organic Cotton Nappy Fabric



Mother-ease's 100% certified organic cotton fabric is grown in the USA and knit in Canada. It is beautifully soft, environmentally friendly and totally safe for your baby. The fabric is unbleached and naturally beige. Choose this fabric if you want only 100% cotton nappies. The fabric is easy to wash and durable.

Both our One Size cloth nappy and Sandy's cloth nappy lines, as well nursing pads and baby wipes are available in this eco friendly material.

Mother-ease Super-Absorbent Stay-Dry Microfibre



Mother-ease's super-absorbent stay-dry microfibre consists of two layers - a super-absorbent core and a stay-dry surface layer. The surface layer is a specially designed stay dry fabric. Upon contact moisture is immediately drawn through the pores to the inner absorbent core. The stay dry fabric is buttery soft, easy to clean and keeps baby dry.

The ultra high tech core is especially designed to be super absorbent. It is patent protected and available only to Mother-ease. It will absorb 1.7 times the amount of any competing absorbent insert (by weight.) Since the absorbent core is so effective the nappies are super slim but still provide the absorbency you need.

The super-absorbent microfibre spins very dry in the washing machine reducing it's drying time. While this is the most absorbent fabric we make it also dries the fastest!

Our Wizard Uno and Wizard Duo Inserts are available in this high-tech material. You can also purchase boosters made from the super-absorbent microfibre without the stay-dry layer.



Mother-ease Leak-proof Covers Fabric (PUL)



The leak proof fabric used in our covers, All-in-one nappies, betwetter pants and training pants is a soft 100% polyester knit. It's coated on one side with a thin layer ot polyurethane laminate (PUL) making it beautifully soft and effectively waterproof. This fabric is machine washable and very quick to dry.

It is available in white and a variety of colours and prints.
